Join us at Fogarty Park in Cairns on Sunday 24th September for a FREE family friendly festival celebrating and advocating for the iconic Southern Cassowary.

World Cassowary Day is about celebrating and showcasing the Southern Cassowary (Casuarius casuarius) and the conservation efforts of people working to protect them and their home, the World Heritage listed Wet Tropics Rainforests.

Come along and be part of the celebrations and learn more about how you can help protect the magnificent Cassowaries, their Wet Tropics friends and their rainforest home!
